Monitor News - The news you want, the way you want.
NewsRoom™ allows you to monitor news and information relevant to your industry, in real-time, right as it's published. Some companies get a premium news feed from services like Lexis-Nexis, Dialogue or Hoovers. But these providers can miss important sources of information. Competitive intelligence isn't like that - you need to track premium news, but you also need to monitor other sources; competitor websites, competitor product pages, job openings, competitor home town newspapers, regulatory websites, blogs, etc Beyond monitoring, NewsRoom™ gives companies the ability to organise and prioritise news the way they want it. Employees can filter through harvested items and quickly determine what is important and relevant in an automated fashion. With news that is managed and organized, individual business units can deliver meaningful intelligence through value-added newsletters. Getting the right news - the way you want it, has never been this easy.
How Does it Work? NewsRoom™ visits RSS newsfeeds and the pages of competitor/industry websites that you specify, harvesting hyperlinks and information from these sites, storing them into a database, and allowing you to search and filter those news items according to your schedule of priorities.
Newsletters, Alerts, and other Destinations Set automatic alerts to incoming news, publish news items as a "Flashes" to an e-mail distribution list, or categorise news to timelines to map patterns of competitor behaviour. In addition, publish an entire category as an email newsletter, with the ability to completely edit items' before publishing.
V-Sources NewsRoom™ allows you to create virtual sources by converting regular web pages into monitored news feeds. Web pages such as investor relation pages, press release pages, product pages or bio pages can be e-mailed to you every day - automatically as syndicated hyperlinks, for any webpage.
Blog Monitoring NewsRoom™ will also help you analyse, organise, and publish anything that may be a potential threat. Set alerts for keyword filters to predict a potential problem with negative company or product buzz. You can even set alerts on blogs to signal anything new that might interest other departments in your organisation.
